When I was little, I loved watching the old Gidget movies. Little did I know, the Gidge was based on a real life little surfer girl named Kathy Kohner.
She started surfing in Malibu at age 15, sometimes trading her signature peanut-butter and radish sandwiches for a chance to ride the waves.
Peanut butter and radish? Have you tried it? I'm kind of curious... I really, really love radishes.
