Yes, they were "making their dreams come true," and doing it their way. Much like Stacey and I do it our way. Stacey is my room-mate and we have just moved in to our very own apartment, just me and her. Sometimes I wish that we had our very own sitcom to display the wild and crazy misadventures that occur in our everyday lives. It's hard for me to decide which of the two we individually represent. I just took a quiz, and it said I was Shirley, but still I really don't know if Stacey is a Laverne... What do you think?
There's also Mary Richards and Rhoda Morgenstern from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show." Although they were just upstairs neighbors, they were still best friends. What's funny about Mary and Rhoda is that they were quite opposite each other, but were still able to maintain a friendship. That's how it is with Stace and me. We are dissimilar in a lot of ways, and its fun to have those dissimilarities play against each other. Like, I'm strangely obsessed with animals. And Stacey eats weird things like nacho cheese. See? We really need a sitcom.
Stacey and I LOVE the movie "Baby Mama." Mostly because we see ourselves in the characters that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey respectively play. If you haven't guessed, I am Amy and Stacey is Tina. Here is a scene from the film that could've been pulled out of a scene of my real life:
