Now maybe you don't know who Van Johnson is, but I do, and my Grandma certainly does. She used to be sweet on him (translation: she had a mad crush on him back in the day, yo!).

Oh, sad day about Van! I hadn't heard he had passed. For a long time I was only familiar with him as the gruffy friend of Gene Kelly in Brigadoon, but then I saw In the Good Old Summertime and really liked him in it. Thanks for passing on the news!
