Camp Casey Weekend

I had such a wonderful birthday weekend.

Because I'm a staff member at SPU, I'm able to use the Faculty House at Camp Casey on Whidbey Island.


The property is beautiful; grassy, open, right next to the beach.

And the house was built in the Victorian era, so it has a big porch and many rooms...

We romped on the beach, climbed on the old naval base, ate good food, played games, fed wild deer, celebrated February birthdays (me, Carissa, Patrick), danced, burnt my Christmas tree, bonded, went to Deception Pass, and then to Stacey's parents house for a home-cooked meal.



The weekend restored my soul. And made me very thankful for such good people in my life.


I'm blown away.
