Snake Bite

Last night I had a dream that I was bitten by a rattlesnake on the back of my shin. And it wouldn't let go of me, it just stayed attached to my leg.

I'm very interested in dream interpretation, so I poked around this online dream dictionary, and here's what I found:

Rattlesnake:
To see a rattlesnake in your dream, represents the passage of time.

Hmm, ok. Don't really know how that relates to my life. So I looked up "Snake":

Snake:
To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. Alternatively, the snake may be seen as phallic and thus symbolize temptation, dangerous and forbidden sexuality. If you are afraid of the snake, then it signifies your fears of sex, intimacy or commitment.

Yeesh. That's pretty deep. And scary. Honestly, I kind of do think I'm dealing with some underlying fears and worries. Maybe I fear intimacy and commitment? I don't think I do, but maybe I don't know myself as well as I think. But you know, looking back at the meaning of "rattlesnake," I do have a fear of the future, or passage of time.

Fascinating.

Do you believe your dreams have deeper meanings?

Oh God... I hope not. My dreams are usually completely nonsensical!

I love reading about people's dreams - I wish JD would write his down, they are always crazy and so detailed.

Of, course!
Did you know I had a dream with George Clooney in it and he really liked me and thought I was cool. I felt so great the whole next day and I still feel happy when I think of it!
