Could Abigail Breslin's portrayal of Olive in Little Miss Sunshine be one of contemporary cinema's greatest roles? I would argue yes. What about "important role model"? Absolutely. Olive is so innocently loving, so passionate, and so unaffected by the mean world around her. I want to be her. Maybe dressing like her would assist that endeavor. Damn, I really want her red cowboy boots.
