On Saturday, Fremont Outdoor Cinema kicked off their season with a Mamma Mia sing along in Magnuson Park. Obviously, I went with my girls, Stacey and Laura.

It's such a fun, fun, fun movie, and I think my favorite parts are the interactions between Donna, Meryl Streep's character, and her two old BFFs from their days as "Donna & the Dynamos."

Even though it's just a movie, I love the three's relationship, as they poke fun at each other, drink, giggle uncontrollably, cry uncontrollably, offer advice, and most importantly, dance and sing.
Needless to say, I'm quite thankful for my own "Dynamos;" I hope that when we're middle-aged and still trying to act young, chasing men and being independent, we'll still get together and sing ABBA songs at the tops of our lungs. This is my favorite lyric...
Chiquitita, tell me the truth
I'm a shoulder you can cry on
Your best friend, I'm the one you must rely on
You were always sure of yourself
Now I see you've broken a feather
I hope we can patch it up together

I had a BLAST despite the cold.
"Does your mother know that you're out?" That's going to be me in 20 years.
Yes, Stacey the cougar, Allie the writer, and I'll have an illegitimate child - see you in 20 years, can't wait!
