Last Friday, Leslie and I tried Moshi Moshi Sushi in Ballard. If you're craving Blue C Sushi, but want something a little more upscale and unpredictable, this is the place to go.
We sipped tasty cocktails (I got the "gin play," gin, maraschino, lime, grapefruit, while Les got the "flip cup," rye, raspberry, grapefruit, egg white, bitters) while we waited for our miso soup and goma-ae (blanched and chilled spinach and asparagus with goma sauce) appetizers.
Then I had a delish California roll... and stupidly got another roll, the ebi ten (tempura shrimp, cucumber, mayo lettuce)... I was way too full by the end.
I also just discovered they have a killer happy hour menu, if you, like me, have spent too much money on nail polish of recent.

Oh, and p.s., we saw a celebrity right across the street from Moshi Moshi, a Miss Elizabeth Banks, in town filming a movie with Tobes MacG. I live for star sightings.
