I recently watch the 1980 film Fame for the first time, which is quite shocking, considering I was way into the performing arts in my earlier years. Well, I really enjoyed it! The characters are cute and uber-dramatic. Makes me want to attend Cornish, here in Seattle...
AND, their costumes are so enjoyable. Very 80s; lots of "movement" clothing.
