Heavenly Creatures, starring a young Kate Winslet, and directed by Peter Jackson, is one of the creepiest films I've ever seen.
That said, the visual styling of the movie is quite lovely.
Eerily lovely, considering the subject matter (basically two teenage girls go off their rockers and murder one of their parents... Eek.)
