Howl's Moving CastleThis was the first Miyazaki film I saw, and I really enjoyed it; beautiful animation, and a very magical story. I especially liked Billy Crystal's rendition of Calcifer, the little fire guy. Sooo cuuute! It's about this young woman who gets cursed with old age by witch, so she seeks out the mysterious Howl for help.

PonyoThe opening scene sealed the deal for me (first image above). Freaking adorable. Ponyo is a little fish creature who wants to be human (kind of like A Little Mermaid, I guess!). The story wasn't as good as Howl's, but it was still really fun to watch.

Princess Mononoke
I watched this last night, and it was very different from the other films. More violent, and the story is basically about environmentalism (another to add to the list of films James Cameron's precious Avatar was preceded by). My favorite part of Princess Monoke were those ghosty forest creatures whose heads rotated. I want one.
Still to see:
My Neighbor Totoro
Spirited Away
