Sometimes I get stuck in a really bad music rut. I end up listening to the same three songs over and over again until I can't stand them anymore. It's horrible. Luckily though, my friend Lauren recently introduced me to Stereo Mood. It's a site that makes playlists according to moods you're in, like happy, calm, or dreamy, and specific activities, like just wake up, working, or dinner with friends. The best part is that there are no commercials (that's why I can't listen to Pandora anymore!) and it's free. The only downside: some of the songs overlap, but hopefully the people behind the site are always updating and editing playlists.
Here are a few of my favorite songs I've discovered/rediscovered through Stereo Mood:
"Got my Mind Set on You" by George Harrison
"Ambling Alp (Alan Wilkis Remix)" by Yeasayer
"Alright" by Supergrass
"Love You Madly" by Cake

it's almost too good to be true.
