Hi, I'm Katie of A Day With Kate!

While Allie's away on her vacay, I thought I'd inspire you guys with a summer treat!

I love baking, but lately, it's been so dang hot in LA. So I've been trying not to use the oven. The perfect solution? Ice cream, of course!! I picked up a flat of strawberries at the farmer's market and went to town making strawberry ice cream + strawberry/raspberry/lemon sorbet. I just used the recipes that came with our ice cream maker, and they turned out delicious.









So if you're an ice cream lover like me, I suggest making your own! It's incredibly satisfying... I promise. And if you don't have an ice cream maker, make your own popsicles!! They're equally delicious, and mighty refreshing.
