Unfortunately my iphone died before I could take pictures of our amazing dinner at Allium, a restaurant that keeps in stride with in-season produce, and incorporates simple, fresh Pacific Northwest flavors sourced from local farms.

We also shared lavender goat cheese quesadillas. Yah, those sound crazy, right?! But they were amazing. Melted in my mouth.

Sounds like a blast! What a great place to spend a weekend. Orcas and all the San Juans really make me remember what a magical place the PNW really is.
