I first noticed Tamar Mogendorff's lovely creations at one of my favorite Seattle boutiques Essenza. As my hormones start gearing up for child-rearing times (don't worry, I'm waiting a little longer), it's objects like these that make me excited to create a wonderful world for my future babies. I love her mix of fantastical and imperfect in what she chooses to create. Also, the lashes on some of the creatures... How can you resist those? Of course her beautiful pieces are a little pricey, but I've actually been wanting to try my hand at making stitched/stuffed objects myself.
