The Annalisa and Other Adventures on the Amalfi Coast

Well, this is going to be a quickie, but I had to make you all feel a bit jealous by making you aware of the fact that I AM IN PARADISE. Yes, today I went to the Isola di Capri, with its crystalline blue waters of the Mediterranean, jutting coastline, and white stucco villas. We rented a boat-- The Annalisa-- from "Captain Jack", and cruised the perimeter of the island, stopping in one gem of a cove to take a quick dip in the clearest, aquamarinest water I have ever seen. What a life, what a life... And it is hard to believe I am currently enrolled in school, as I walk down shaded cobblestone paths, eating my favorite stracciatella (creamy, with chocolate chips) gelato.
The Italian coast, Sorrento, where we stay at the Ostella di Sirene, is a breath of fresh air after the insanity of Roma...
I wish you were here, my friends.
