The 11th Doctor

If you're a No Small Dreams regular, you probably know that I'm way into "Doctor Who" currently (mostly thanks to this person). Well, since the show's birth in 1963, 11 actors have played the title role of the Doctor. I've only followed the show since it's re-vamp in 2005; Christopher Eccleston played the Doctor for one season (or "series," as the Brits say); and then David Tennant came in and had a lovely run for three seasons. Now I'm in the fifth season, and Matt Smith has taken over the Tardis (just bear with me while I nerd out, ok?). He's young, he's cute, and he's much more lighthearted and playful than the previous Doctors. It's a nice change (although I still miss David).

But Matt's kind of adorable, right? The bow tie and suspenders seal the deal.

Let Me Introduce You to Doctor Who

This the Doctor. He doesn't really have a name. Just the Doctor. He's a time lord. He has two hearts. He never dies, just regenerates. And he always saves the day.

Just thought you'd like to meet my current TV obsession.
