S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y night!

Celebrated Jessica's (the one with the fangs) birthday last Saturday...
She made an amazing photo booth in the basement!

Then the gang headed to Capitol Hill for some cha-cha-ing.

I had my first "Seattle dog" (cream cheese and grilled onions, nomnomnom) from a street vendor.

This photo epitomizes the "it's 2 a.m., we're young, we don't give a damn" phase we're in currently.

Friendly Spotlight: Jessica Susan Vehorn

Meet Jessica Vehorn.

I am not afraid to declare Jessica a genius. It's a pretty fair statement, considering she just constructed a beautiful wedding dress and bridesmaids skirts for her sister's wedding. All on her own. But besides genius, Jessica has such noteworthy characteristics as loyalty, beauty, and humor.

Jessica has a fantastic tattoo of a magical sea unicorn, a beautiful example of both her wit and whimsy.

Our friendship began in the magical land of Europe, where we both studied during spring quarter 2007. Because of her special qualities, Jessica became known to our group as "Mom." Of course, Mom needed a Dad counterpart, so that roll naturally fell to the charming and handsome Jarrett Mylander.

If you ever have a bottle of wine you'd rather not drink on your own, just call Jessica. Or if you're itching to hit the Sorrento clubs, Jessica will be up for it.

She is a talented, genuine, beloved, friendly soul. And I love her. I hope you do too.
