Director and actor Sydney Pollack died Monday of cancer. He was 73. Pollack directed and costarred in one of my all-time favorite films--one of the best comedies ever made--"Tootsie."
Here he is on the left, with Dustin Hoffman in drag as Dorothy (Tootz). Such a marvelous scene.
