Have you heard of this concept of "love language"? It's the primary way that you express and interpret love. The five are:
1. Words of affirmation
2. Quality time
3. Receiving gifts
4. Acts of service
5. Physical touch
I took a test recently and scored highest in "receiving gifts," although I sort of believe that I'm a little bit of all of them. But it's true; I really appreciate thoughtfulness and effort when it comes to gift-giving, be it a birthday present or a "just because" gift. I also love giving gifts, and put a lot of thought into them. Surprisingly, Josh got the same result!
You can take the test here.

Know what's funny? Darrick and I are leading a life group on the 5 love languages starting Sunday. I am soooo excited! :)
as suspected, I got 10 on quality time, 10 on physical touch, 7 on encouraging words, and 1 and 2 for the others ones. I just like being around max and snuggling. and I love that he encourages me in my dreams :) happy happy. we have boys who understand our love languages I think.
