When I was 17, I got the opportunity to do a summer internship with Santa Barbara assemblage artist Ron Robertson in his home studio. I learned a lot about art and the process of creating it, while smelling Ron's rank rolled cigarettes and listening to his weird government conspiracy theories. For some reason Ron popped into my head this morning, and so I thought I'd share some of his awesome pieces or art. I still really love mixed media art, and will definitely be doing more in the future.
