Homebody

I'm so excited for my Friday night! Guess what I'm doing? Absolutely nothing! Well, nothing social, that is. I'm planning on doing laundry, watching Mad Men, and going to bed early. Sometimes I just need a little down-time, okay? Saturday will be more exciting, I promise: I have a date. YUP. That's all I'll say for now.

A house is not a home...

How appropriate it was that this week's Glee was on the subject of home, when my "home" is all but gone. Sorry for the depressing subject, but it's very much on my mind...

Anywho, my favorite songs were "A House is Not a Home"--sung so beautifully by Kurt, suffering from a bad case of unrequited love-- and "One Less Bell to Answer" belted out by crazy April and Brillo-headed Mr. S.

Sigh.

Also these songs just really make me want a HUMAN home companion... Dotty, you're nice and all, but it's really hard to watch How I Met Your Mother with you... and you don't like human food, so I guess I'll just make myself a single batch of sauteed chicken in mustard cream sauce.

My life = not-so-gleeful right now.

Golden

I didn't watch the Golden Globes last night, but I looove looking at all the red carpet, special moments from the event... All the beautiful people, in beautiful clothing. Oh yeah.

I did watch Inglourious Basterds last night, and Melanie Laurent was wonderful! Obsessed with her now! Here she is with her basterd of a director.

And here's the other leading lady of Basterds, Diane Kruger, who totally rocked the film. Aaand she's dating Pacey! Awwww!

Dear Chloe: Lose the I'm seriously the most fashionable person here expression. You always do it, and I'm sickofit! That said, I really like your dress.

Lea Michele of Glee, you are a very talented girl, I love you, buuut... you are way too young and undistinguished as a Hollywood actress to be wearing a gown of that proportion. You shouldn't be taking yourself so seriously. Love, Allie.

Ahhh! I never thought I'd say it because I'm so in love with John, but I'm very happy for these two. Emily Blunt seems like the real deal. And her dress is gorgeous.

Look! It's the Glee cast! I wish I could have sat at their table.

UPDATE: My wonderful mother has informed me that Michael C. Hall really IS sick! He has been secretly battling Hodgkins lymphoma, but luckily it's now in remission. So sad! Read more about it.

Woah. Michael C. Hall: why are you wearing that cap? Does Dexter have cancer in season five or something? Ohh nooo, I'm nervous!

Oh, just two of the most amazing ladies in show biz.
