Vorrei una bicicletta

Last summer when my bike got stolen, I never bought a new one. But now it's April and it's going to be nice outside soon (I mean it better be, or so help me God, Seattle, I will LEAVE. FOR GOOD!!!), so I need to find a bicycle so I don't get left in the dust of everyone pedaling around the city! The above would be ideal. I designed it myself on Urban Outfitters' website. A powder pink frame would be sooo badass.

I really need a basket for my Corsaro.


That way I can get flowers at the market...


And have an easier way to transport my purse.
It's all about being prepared.


Or maybe it's about the aesthetics.
Because this bicycle kicks ass.

What I accomplished today:

1. Cleaned kitchen of all stacks of dirty dishes

2. Went on a run (and felt very out-of-breath)

3. Exchanged the wrong size boot for right one at Urban Outfitters, so that now both boots are size eight. Huzzah!

4. Bike ride to Trophy Cupcakes with Joe

5. Repaired holes in wall at Joe's house... HOW those holes were made, you'll just have to ask Joe

6. Recorded a song with Joe (I sang!)

7. Made tacos for dinner

8. Painted-by-numbers

And now I will sleep. Sleep very well.

Current January Status

Current books: The Bedside Book of Birds, which is, surprise surprise, by my bed.

Current playlist: I really like Florence + the Machine's stuff right now.

Current guilty pleasure: Mastering the Art of French Cooking holds many guilty pleasures, and I have it in my possession!

Current color: White. Or off-white. Ha-ha.

Current drink: Stiff ones.

Current food: Roast chicken.

Current favorite show: "Summer Heights High." As previously mentioned.

Current wish list: A new hairstyle and a Mulberry bag.

Current needs: Probably a bike helmet... safety first!

Current triumphs: Successfully cooked my first Julia Child recipe... Potato leek soup!
