March Goal

I like to buy clothes. Correction: I love to buy clothes. Leather boots, ballet flats, skinny jeans, cocktail dresses, high-waist skirts, frilly blouses, gold rings, chunky bracelets, braided headbands, soft cardigans, cotton tees, lacy unmentionables, one-of-a-kind necklaces, retro sunglasses... I WANT IT ALL. I've had a thing for fashion and dressing up ever since I was in diapers, it seems like. My mom always gets on my case about my purchasing habits. It's like, I get it, mother. I am tre horrible with the cash flow. SO: My goal for the month of March is... drum roll, please... to not buy new clothing. If I feel the need to shop, I can only shop second-hand. Honestly, I'm kind of excited about this goal. It will give me a chance to branch out in the world of fashion and be extremely creative. It's kind of like a game for me. What kind of treasures can I find, for dirt cheap? A black velvet fedora? A polka dot cardigan? A faux fur wrap? We shall see.
