On "Alice in Wonderland"...

Pro: The costumes were AH-MAZING.
Con: The special effects were too cartoon-y.
Pro: Helena Bonham Carter was a perfect Red Queen.
Con: Avril Lavigne song as the credits roll?? WTF?
Pro: Mia Wasikowska was very pretty.
Con: Sometimes it was too similar to The Wizard of Oz. They're two separate stories, and it makes the filmmakers look dumb when they mix them up.
Pro: Anne Hathaway's gag reflexes.
Con: Johnny Depp's accent. Too similar to Jack Sparrow.

Conclusion: A bit disappointed, but I still love the overall story and I love Tim Burton. The animated version remains my favorite version though.
