2. I love wedges because they're a little easier to walk around in all day compared to high heels.
3. When it comes to jewelry, go for a statement piece, like something from Anthropologie.
4. Don't be afraid to wear red lipstick! It never goes out of style.
5. But pair it with glasses so that you're not taking yourself to seriously.
Did you know that shorts are officially ok to wear to work now, according to Plum Sykes in the April 2010 issue of Vogue? It's true! You just have to know which to wear. Wear them "very tailored, very tidy, and very pressed." Pair with a flat shoe, like the classic loafer.

Since it's spring/summer, wear flouncy, airy dresses with modest sleeves so it's office-appropriate. Don't be afraid to mix patterns; it's creative and makes a statement. I'm also a firm believer in nail polish as an accessory.

I like this jean blazer with the floral top and khaki dress pants because it's a very age-appropriate look. Just because you work in an office doesn't mean you have to look like a frump. The mismatched bracelets also give the look a youthful air. And a quality perfume to spritz on your wrists seals the deal.
Hope this helps! ;)

I love the loafers on Tuesday, very Alexa Chung!
I didn't know we're now allowed to wear shorts to work! Definitely going to incorporate that into my summer plans. Thanks!
