Bunny Rabbit

My mom is the best gift-giver. She's always very thoughtful. I strive to be like her in that way. For a little Easter present, she sent me this precious French copy of Benjamin Bunny by Beatrix Potter. "Jeannot Lapin" translates to "bunny rabbit." Awwww.

On a horrible side note, I tried some kind of rabbit pate the other day, and it was nasty. I vow never again to eat rabbit products. Also, pate is the same consistency as cat food, hence why I'm not crazy about it.... But I was on a date with this foodie guy so I pretended to like it. Oh, the things I do. Cool your jets, I'll tell you about the date soon; it's a pretty (not) awesome story.

Cool book.

I hope the foodie guy doesn't read your blog or he might be in for a rude awakening.

If he happens to, that's fine. I'm not trying to impress him anymore :)

good gift givers are the best. as is being one. finding the perfect gift for someone always feels like such an accomplishment. like i want to announce it to the world, but i have to wait until the actual gift giving time or it ruins the whole thing. ha

Wow, what a thoughtful gift! I know what you mean about rabbit, a once dated a bit of a mountain man who hunted rabbit and made me try a rabbit stew...yuck! Never again...
