Beach Reads

Remember how I'm going to Kauai in August? Well, I need some beach reading suggestions! Send them my way! I want something fun and engaging. I've had The Hunger Games series on my list forever (teen fiction, what-WHAT); I want to try out a book by Chelsea Handler because I love reading about other people's dating woes; I've heard great things about The Perks of Being a Wallflower; and The Tiger's Wife is a newish release that's been featured in Vogue and other magazines. WHAT ELSE?!

Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl was my beach read in India a few years ago, it's wonderful. And as for teen fiction, David Levithan has been on my read soon list forever.

Love your blog =)

Yessss! Hunger Games trilogy is on summer 'to read' list! I'm currently reading The Paris Wife which is a novel about Hemingway's first wife and their life in Paris, it's good so far! I've always wanted to read The Perks Of Being a Wallflower!

First, I am utterly charmed by your blog. I can't remember how I even found it, but it is on my short list of daily blog reads.
Second, my favorite beach read I have passed on to many friends is The Final Confessions of Mabel Stark. It is a novel based on tiger trainer Mabel Stark who was a total bad ass in her day.
I couldn't put it down, and everyone I have told to read it absolutely loved it.
Have fun in Hawaii!
