My first flight of the day got delayed, which made me miss my second flight, which threw off my whole day of traveling. Now I fly out of San Francisco Airport at 10:30 p.m. so I decided to go into the city since I had so much time to kill. I know the Mission District kind of well, so I went there and walked around, happy to be in the company of so many cool Californians. I went to Bar Tartine for lunch and got a sparkling candied beet cocktail and toast with meatball, rapini, and goat cheese. It was amazing. I sat in Dolores Park and read, and got a beer at Monk's Kettle before taking the BART back to the airport. I am sooooo tired so I'm looking forward to eating dinner here and interneting before flying out.
