Jobriath A.D. tells the story of a glam rock god who never was. He was so talented and yet was unable to gain the type of popularity that David Bowie had. I am listening to a lot of glam rock now because of it.
The Punk Singer is about Kathleen Hanna, the lead singer of the groundbreaking feminist 90s band Bikini Kill. She was and still is an amazing presence in the modern feminist journey.
