I went into my local Zara yesterday to kill some time before a meeting, and excitedly browsed their early-Fall stuff, which is unsurprisingly very "norm;" normcore, which was big in the post-grunge 90s is back in the chicest way possible. Neutral solid colors, tennies, turtlenecks.
Also, PAISLEY. Not exactly normcore but it TOTALLY reminds me of Contempo Casuals circa 1997. Good memories.
