I have to admit that since finishing the
Twilight series this summer, some of the magic and excitement I initially had for the story has dwindled. It might have something to do with the fact that EVERYONE has read or is reading the series now.
When I first discovered
Twilight it was such a fun, secret little indulgence. Then I started spreading the word to my friends and even did a
post on it. I don't mean to be snooty, but
Twilight seems less special and less magical, and I feel like I should have just hoarded it all to myself.
No, that would not have been right. I'm just not ecstatically excited about seeing the midnight showing of the
Twilight film tonight. I should be. And I'm trying to psyche myself up by watching clips and trailers online. And I'm thinking about making a tee shirt that says something like, "Mrs. Edward Cullen" to wear tonight so I can fit in with all the fanatics.
I hope I'll enjoy myself tonight. But just for the record, I was the one who introduced ALL OF YOU to
Twilight. So be sure to thank me later.
PS: Robert Pattinson SINGS. WTF? He has two tracks on the
Twilight soundtrack! What a babe...
See, I'm getting psyched!
