Feeling Foxy

I am usually the last one to join music bandwagons. Thus it's no surprise that I just now discovered the music of Fleet Foxes.

They're kind of perfect for the cold, gloomy weather of January.

Also, I guess they're from Seattle. Duh. Sometimes I feel like the biggest dork on the planet. That's why I need to purchase some of these specs:
Except I won't look as fetching as this gentleman in them.

Anyway...

FLEET FOXES.

yah!

What I'm Eating at This Very Moment

EEeez really gooooooooooood!

I also have a banana at my desk... Boooorrrring.

Maybe I'll eat that later, once I'm done with my fine French chocolate, which is "bursting with Antilles sunshine, its flavor becoming more and more pronounced as the chocolate melts in your mouth."

Guess Who I Get to See This Weekend....

JOHN TESH. Yaay....

This guy is such a major dork. But I grew up watching him present the latest celebrity gossip on Entertainment Tonight so I'm secretly excited. He was like the original Ryan Seacrest.

I'm going to this fancy benefit dinner with Stacey and her parents for Families Northwest, a smug Christian organization. The reason I'm going: free food.

John, a born-again Christian, is the special guest at this event. He will serenade us beautifully no doubt.

But really, what else am I supposed to do when my boyfriend is out-of-town for the weekend?
