Parade's End

I discovered a BBC miniseries called Parade's End. It's based on a series of books from the 1920s and it's all about marriage, love, monogamy, duty — all that fun stuff — and it's set in England before, during, and after World War I.

Most importantly, it stars Benedict Cumberbatch, that tall hunk of Englishness who I find puzzlingly sexy. I mean, if you look at his face for too long, you realize it's kind of weird, but he's so... tall. :)

I've been illegally downloading it because I'm a criminal, but for you who don't believe in that (read: don't actually know how to illegally download stuff), I'm sure it will be on PBS  Actually, it has some nudity in it, so maybe Instant Netflix?? And it was on HBO, so maybe you can watch it there? Whatever, find a way to watch it; it's great.

Umm... thank you for this! I needed something fulfill my period-piece drama addiction. They can be hard to find sometimes.
