The Met

On Saturday, Josh and I cut through Central Park to escape the heat in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We made a very type-A game plan of all that we wanted to see. It made me really happy because I love plans, especially in a big, overwhelming museum like te Met.

We went on the rooftop because they also have an outdoor exhibit up there and the view of the city is wonderful. But it was too hot, and the art installation just looked like dried blood spatters. Oh, and I love me so Matisse.

And of course the Costume Institute's exhibit of Punk: Chaos to Culture was fabulous. Lots of Vivienne Westwoods, Alexander McQueens, Maison Martin Margielas, Balmains... Ugh, I died and went to heaven.
