Awesome People Hanging Out Together

I always enjoy the Oscars in general, but I really love seeing Vanity Fair's photographs after the ceremony at their big party. I wish I could be invited and hang out with all these cool folks. Plus, the fashion is way more interesting compared to the red carpet. It was so boring this year!

Rosamund Pike in Dior it looks like.

Gennifer Goodwin... I always gorgeous and fashion-forward

Umm... This is Faye Dunaway! She looks so hip! The lady's still got it.

Apparently Joanna Newsom and Andy Samberg are dating! Cute n' quirky

Conan O'Brien shenanigans

Oh, Solange. You are my main squeeze.

Did everyone love the Sally Field / Flying Nun skit during the show?!

Marisa Tomei, I love your sparkly pant suit

Aww, Laura Dern and Adrien Brody.

Rose Byrne is a favorite of mine. Those lips!

All hail Patricia Clarkson!

Jenna Lyons, nerdy-chic as ever

I feel like Amy was probably the most fun person to hang out with at that party

Michelle Williams in Jason Wu / Amy Poehler in Naeem Khan

Sarah Michelle Gellar in Monique Lhuillier / Piper Perabo in Theysken's Theory

Dianna Agron in Giles / Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta

And then there's Uggie, the star of The Artist. Which apparently I really need to see.

Golden

I didn't watch the Golden Globes last night, but I looove looking at all the red carpet, special moments from the event... All the beautiful people, in beautiful clothing. Oh yeah.

I did watch Inglourious Basterds last night, and Melanie Laurent was wonderful! Obsessed with her now! Here she is with her basterd of a director.

And here's the other leading lady of Basterds, Diane Kruger, who totally rocked the film. Aaand she's dating Pacey! Awwww!

Dear Chloe: Lose the I'm seriously the most fashionable person here expression. You always do it, and I'm sickofit! That said, I really like your dress.

Lea Michele of Glee, you are a very talented girl, I love you, buuut... you are way too young and undistinguished as a Hollywood actress to be wearing a gown of that proportion. You shouldn't be taking yourself so seriously. Love, Allie.

Ahhh! I never thought I'd say it because I'm so in love with John, but I'm very happy for these two. Emily Blunt seems like the real deal. And her dress is gorgeous.

Look! It's the Glee cast! I wish I could have sat at their table.

UPDATE: My wonderful mother has informed me that Michael C. Hall really IS sick! He has been secretly battling Hodgkins lymphoma, but luckily it's now in remission. So sad! Read more about it.

Woah. Michael C. Hall: why are you wearing that cap? Does Dexter have cancer in season five or something? Ohh nooo, I'm nervous!

Oh, just two of the most amazing ladies in show biz.

Hair Repair

I am in a major hair rut. The style, texture, and color are totally dull in my opinion. I just don't know what to do! Here are a few options...

I have the same face shape as Kirsten Dunst, so I look to her for hair inspiration from time-to-time... This cut is pretty basic nowadays, but I think it would be really flattering.

This one is so cute... buuuuut... short hair?? I like my long hair....

Florence Welch, my latest muse, has AWESOME hair. Great texture, fiery color. She has more bang, which I don't think I want, because I'll probably grow tired of them after awhile.

This gal has the coolest style. I love the shoulder-length cut, with the dyed ends. But, I'm not brave enough to dye my hair!-- Yet. Because I have such a special natural hair color. But I've had this hair color for almost 24 years of my life, so maybe it's time for a change?

Still fantasize about my-little-pony tresses, a la Giles spring 2010.

YOUR THOUGHTS WOULD BE MOST HELPFUL!

Can I get in that sweater with you?

I have an unshakable lust for Robert Pattinson, aka Edward from the Twilight phenoma-crazy.

Still, I'm quite the sucker for any Twilight parody... Thus last Saturday's SNL, with host Taylor Swift, made me quite happy.

Watch the trailer for Firelight here.

Goodbye, Bettie

Famous pin-up girl Bettie Page died yesterday at age 85. I honestly didn't even know she was still alive. But she was so awesome. Such a feisty lady. My dad used to collect vintage matchbooks and sometimes she would be featured on them in sassy little pin-up outfits.

A little known fact about her: After her pin-up stints, Bettie became a born-again Christian, went to Bible School, and wanted to become a missionary (but couldn't because she was a divorcee). So she worked for Billy Graham ministries.

Jesus loves sexy ladies.

P.S. It was really hard to find photos of Bettie that didn't involve bare breasts and/or bondage... heeheehee

This Week in Crazy Celeb News...

Wow, MK Olson. I think that you should try a little harder to pull off that whole, "I'm young, waify, on drugs, and don't give a shit" look. Sexy.

Katie Holmes, remember that time you were normal? Hmm, maybe you never were. I just wouldn't have ever anticipated this look. Are you suffering from radiation posioning? Is that why your complexion is magenta-orange? And I'm pretty sure you're not fooling anyone with that wig. I miss your Joey Potter locks.

Lay off the Crazar pills.
