Round, tinted, embellished, classic, cat-eye, over-sized... I love sunglasses! And I need a few new pairs, as two of mine have recently went kaput. I like to buy mine cheap because I usually end up losing them or handling them rough.

Right Now

• I am excited for tomorrow... The first day of school for the kids at Boys & Girls Club, and my first day as a teacher for the Birdies (K & 1st grade)
• I need to get outside and soak up sunshine before it disappears with the onslaught of autumn. Autumn is the springtime of melancholy.
• I feel tugged in two directions. One: Excitement for new developments. Two: Freaked out that there is just too much "new" that I can't handle. The life of a hermit sounds appealing.
• I wish my best friends weren't so far away... Heidi, Britta, Moorea, Brittany, Tita, I miss you guys.
